Digital Allround-Care Ecosystem

for comprehensive networking & simple communication in health care

Welcome to the DACE-Project

The DACE-Project – short for Digital Allround Care Ecosystem – was started in March 2018. With the help of the technology program “Smart Service Welt II”, created by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, this secure, comprehensive and digital health platform with integrated interaction and communication functions has been developed. This platform will be established throughout Germany in the near future in order to finally enable digital cooperation in health care.

Members of the consortium:

THE DACE-PROJECT

DACE supports the development of a platform as a prototype for networking medical professionals and patients in the German health care system. The project aims to make a substantial contribution to the digital transformation of the health care system in Germany.

In order to achieve this, the focus was put on secure and simple communication on the browser-based platform, taking into account the aspects of the new e-health law. Video conferences, a virtual telephone connection and a chat are the communication instruments used. These will be linked to existing and future Smart Services along the integrated patient care chain.

In addition, doctors in structurally weak regions can use the platform in order to become part of the digital medical network. They can then communicate more quickly and effectively with colleagues or directly draw from their technical expertise.

The DACE platform enables the secure exchange of data and thus provides comprehensive support for the patient’s informational self-determination for the first time. This promotes confidence in the integrity and security of the Smart Services used.
